A successful builder who specializes in custom homes should be known not only for the outstanding aspect of his work, but for his attention to detail. A local market leader since 1974, Gordon Finch Homes, Inc. has built a reputation as the gold standard for superior craftsmanship, design innovation and quality construction.

A close look at a Gordon Finch home reveals the attention to detail rarely found in today's construction. Fine craftsmanship is displayed in every project. Gordon says, "There is a lot of attention given to construction components and to the way the pieces go together... those may not be things that you'll notice driving by on the road, but when you get up close you can see the difference...it comes from years of experience and having a company that takes pride in building exceptional custom homes."

From an early age, Gordon enjoyed the sense of accomplishment garnered from undertaking and completing projects. As a youngster, he worked on construction jobs around Spokane. He later attended Eastern Washington University and Washington State University, working towards his degree in Civil Engineering.

"What drew me to the construction industry is that I liked working with my hands and being involved with the physical aspect of building." Gordon says. "I like the design aspect of it as well; being able to dream up different floor plans that are architecturally pleasing and making them as efficient as possible."
